A review of The Ministry for the Future, by Kim Stanley Robinson

Well, I read 2 or 3 chapters before retiring this book.

⭐️ Definitely would not recommend.

The beginning of this book.. Is death. Whole cities dying, in graphic detail, from a heat wave.

I understand this book is about climate change, and a future we’re probably not far from (and already at – in this case, in many places) and how we need to shift in order to save ourselves, and our planet…. But… I’m here for the science fiction. This book, which possibly shifted more into that (I’ll never know,) started in a way I was not prepared to continue reading. To grim. Too ‘not-science-fiction’.
